Junior Golf – Overview

The Royal Adelaide Golf Club provides a comprehensive calendar of events for its junior members – from weekly stablefords to seasonal medals and annual trophy competitions; from junior matchplay series to inter-club competition – all supported by an extensive our Junior Development Pathway of coaching programs run by our international team of PGA Professionals.

The Royal Adelaide Golf Club has long been considered South Australia’s premier course.

For many years it has been highly rated by both national and international standards and is currently one of the top 10 courses in Australia (and amongst the top 100 courses in the world).

The traditional links layout has hosted many major international events (including the Australian Open) and recently returned to international stage hosting the 2017 & 2020 ISPS Handa Australian Women’s Open.

With a strong history of producing both leading players and life-long members alike, RAGC understands the important role that juniors play within the fabric of a club and thus maintains a strong focus on its Junior Development Program. A wide and varied range of competition opportunities and on-course events are supported by a progressive program of coaching – where our team of golf professionals and member volunteers play an active role in ensuring the best experience for each young golfer.
