Junior Membership at Royal Adelaide

RAGC is pleased to offer a range of exciting, attractive and accessible membership options. We recognise the importance of junior golf in not only shaping the players of the future but also providing sporting opportunities for young people to encourage a healthy and active lifestyle from a young age.

Our Junior Membership categories are structured to support a progressive and inclusive environment, encouraging players to develop and improve their game as well as mix and socialise with a range of other members. Key to the success of our program is the social interaction and club environment of our junior program. Our aim is to not only nurture and produce good golfers but also to create friendship groups and lifelong friends through this great game.

Entrance fees

We view golf as the ultimate ‘game for life’. As such, we aim to provide a membership structure that encourages longer-term club members and creates and nurtures a true club environment.

We provide an option for Junior Members to pay a once-off reduced entrance fee, with no further joining fee when progressing to full membership (the adult full entrance fee at RAGC is currently $8250 inc GST)*. This option represents significant savings and aims to reduce barriers to full membership for young golfers.

RAGC Junior High Performance Program

Our HP Program provides access to several area specialists, who work alongside our golf professionals. These include a sports psychologist, nutritionist, conditioning coach and physiotherapist. This program is a great stepping stone for juniors ready to take their game to the next level. RAGC HP Program scholarships run for twelve months and are granted via successful application.

The Club also encourages its juniors to represent the club and play tournaments at all available opportunities. Junior (under 16 and under 21) members will be eligible to receive reimbursement for tournament and event related expenditures. Reimbursements are assessed on a case by case basis. Juniors may seek reimbursement for tournament entry fees and tournament related travel expenses to local, state and national events.
