92 players contested the 2024 Shylie Rymill Foursomes event on Tuesday. Congratulations to Marg Wilkinson and Janice Fletcher on winning the event with 72 net by 2.5 shots from Runners Up Ali Coventry and Ros Brebner with Jan Van de Worp and Louise Walters in third place on 76 net.

Rounds: 1 x 18 Hole Foursomes Stroke.

Tees: Red Tees. Shotgun Start. 8.00 for 8.30am. (Coffee available in bar from 7.00am).

Shylie Rymill Format: Played in fours (two pairs per group). Players alternate teeing off and ball is played alternatively until holed out.

Grades: One Grade. 

Countback: If there is a tie for the winner in either of the divisions the Australian Count-back Method will be used to determine the winner.

Eligibility: Event is open to Female Category 1, Category 2, Temporary Category 1*, Temporary Category 2*, Interstate, Overseas, Country, Veteran (25), Veteran (50), Under 36 and Junior Members, and Veteran (25) and Veteran (50) Associates who hold a Golf Australia handicap.
*Please note Temporary Category members are only eligible for the Shylie Rymill and not for the President’s Trophy and should inform their playing partner of this.

Motorised Carts: Please note the use of motorised carts is prohibited except as authorised or approved by the Match Committee – refer to point 8 in the Stroke Play Terms of Competition for further information.

Lunch Information: Lunch to follow golf. $38.00 per person charged to individual account.  Whilst not compulsory it is strongly encouraged that players attend the lunch after the Shylie Rymill Foursomes.

Important:  If you are not intending to stay for lunch please notify Paul by close of business Thursday 4th April. Cancellations after Thursday will incur a charge of the food component.

President’s Trophy Information: President’s Trophy qualifying to be played in conjunction with Shylie Rymill. Top 8 to qualify for Matchplay. If you are unavailable to play in the match play please write NFQ on your scorecard. 

Matchplay Conditions of Entry: Players should not enter the competition if they are planning to be away, or are unlikely to be available to play for other reasons, for more than two consecutive weeks during the competition. Within the period to play each round of the match play stages of the competition, players should be available to play their match on at least three different dates and a range of times and days of the week at the times available for match play as set out in RAGC’s Match Play Booking Procedures and Times Policy.
