SUMMER MATCH PLAY – ENTRIES OPEN

Entries are open for the Ian McLachlan Summer Cup (men’s singles), M.G. Anderson Summer Cup (men’s 4BBB) and Mixed Match Play Trophy (mixed Canadian foursomes).

Registrations for all events close on Sunday 17th September at 6.00pm.

Members are reminded of Term 9: Availability:
Players should not enter the competition if they are planning to be away, or are unlikely to be available to play for other reasons, for more than two consecutive weeks during the competition. Within the period to play each round of the match play stages of the competition, players should be available to play their match on at least three different dates and a range of times and days of the week at the times available for match play as set out in RAGC’s Match Play Booking Procedures and Times Policy.

Defending champions: Karl Kirsten

The Ian McLachlan Summer Cup was first played in 1972 is open to male Category 1, Category 2, Interstate, Overseas, Country, Veteran (25), Veteran (50), Under 36 and Junior members who hold a Golf Australia handicap.

All play is from the white tees, with daily handicaps calculated as at the day of the match.

M.G. ANDERSON SUMMER CUP

Defending champions: Robert Greenslade & Tom Gray

The M.G. Anderson Summer Cup was first played in 1935 and is open to male Category 1, Category 2, Interstate, Overseas, Country, Veteran (25), Veteran (50), Under 36 and Junior members who hold a Golf Australia handicap.

All play is from the white tees, with daily handicaps calculated as at the day of the match.

MIXED MATCH PLAY TROPHY

Defending champions: Peter Ormandy & Sally Nobbs

The Mixed Match Play Trophy was first played in 2000 and is open to mixed pairings with one male and one female member of the following categories: Category 1, Category 2, Interstate, Overseas, Country, Veteran (25), Veteran (50), Under 36 and Junior members who hold a Golf Australia handicap.

All play is from the white tees (males) and red tees (women), with daily handicaps calculated as at the day of the match used to determine the team handicap. Team handicaps should be rounded up or down to the nearest whole number.
