Royal Adelaide’s reciprocal club network has been expanded, with Sorrento Golf Club the latest addition.
Located on the Mornington Peninsula, Sorrento rated 61st in the most recent Australian Golf Digest Rankings. The course at Sorrento has been designed with its members in mind and is shorter than most traditional ‘championship’ courses that feature in the rankings.
The impeccably manicured layout at Sorrento meanders through rolling hills, valleys and natural shrubland with strategic doglegs and elevation changes throughout. The walk itself is enjoyable with panoramic views of the surrounding area from all peaks. Atop one of these peaks sits the large Hamptons-style clubhouse with excellent food and beverage options available.
Sorrento’s inclusion as a reciprocal club will give members more choice when booking golf on the Mornington Peninsula with the three courses at The National’s Cape Schanck site also accessible.
Royal Adelaide members of all categories will be granted complimentary access to the facilities at Sorrento with a pre-booking.
