Junior Academy programs at Royal Adelaide

With a strong history of producing both leading amateurs and touring professionals, RAGC understands the important role that juniors play within the club and maintains a strong focus on it’s Junior Academy and Junior Membership, where our team of golf professionals and member volunteers play an active role in ensuring the best experience for each young golfer.

For novice golfers – MyGolf program:

The Royal Adelaide Golf Club recognises the importance of junior sport participation at the community level. Through the national Junior framework of MyGolf – a collaborative national junior introductory program designed to develop and promote participation in golf managed by both Golf Australia and the PGA of Australia – aims “to increase participation and engagement in golf by children, and provide a fun, accessible and satisfying introduction to the sport of golf by promoting skills development, as well as the social and fun aspects of the sport, to the wider community”.

Our MyGolf classes take place on Saturday afternoons during term time from 1400-1700. Further information and registration can be found on the MyGolf website here.

For RAGC junior members – Cadet program:

Supporting the playing experience of our junior members, the Cadet program provides our young members with more advanced player development to support their introduction to competition and representative team golf.

Our Cadet class takes place on Saturday afternoons during term time at 1200 and is followed by a junior stableford competition.

For elite golfers – High Performance program:

For selected individuals playing golf at an elite level, our HP program provides both individual holistic support and athlete development alongside group training and tournament preparation.
