Meet our Professionals
Matt Antell – Teaching Professional
PGA Advanced Professional Matt Antell built a reputation as one of the leading and most qualified golf coaches in the UK before joining Royal Adelaide in 2019.
With over 10 years of specialist coaching experience, Matt is passionate about providing the very best coaching experiences possible – educating, engaging and inspiring his students – whether they are ‘learning to play’ the game or ‘playing to win’ at the competitive level.

His player centred, evidence based approach has seen him work with both European Tour professionals alongside his roles for England Golf, where he has developed numerous young players to national success and on to US College golf. As part of his coaching Matt utilises the latest in technology (including ball & club tracking, 3D motion capture and slow-mo video).

Cameron is regarded as one of the Australia’s top Golf Coaches, working with number of the states leading players. Following a successful amateur career Cameron turned professional and become a PGA member in 1987. He played full time on the Australasian Tour until 1997 which included winning the Victorian PGA Matchplay championship at Woodlands GC also top 10 finishes in the Australian Open, Australian PGA, Australian Players Championship and NZ Open. Cameron has won over 60 Pro Ams with numerous course records. In 1997 Cameron’s career took another direction and went and trained under the world’s best coaches with the aim of becoming one of Australia’s finest coaches and now oversees South Australia’s finest Golf Academy.
Tony Christie – Professional
Tony turned professional in 1993 following a successful amateur career where he represented New Zealand at junior and mens level. He initially played on the Australasian tour where he won the Cairns classic in 2005. He won the VonNida order of merit in 1998 and won 14 events on tour covering 5 countries. Subsequently he played on the Nike tour and a handful of European tour events where played alongside the likes of former world number ones Martin Kaymer, Adam Scott and Jason Day. Tony still very much competes on a part time basis and is only a few years from the Senior Tour and loves coaching people from all spectrums of the game.

An in-depth assessment to improve either your full swing, short game or putting technique utilising the latest in coaching technology.
In addition to the technical assessment provided with a 30 minute Swing Analysis, a 60 minute Performance Coaching session also includes skill development activities and competitive training to maximise your all round technical, tactical and mental performance.
On Course Lesson
Play with one of our PGA Professionals on the famous Royal Adelaide links and improve you strategy, course management and mental skills.
Our Junior Academy operates three tiers of programs for each stage of a young golfers pathway, beginning with our MyGolf program for beginner and novice golfers, followed by our Cadets program for RAGC junior members and topped off with our High-Performance program which supports our elite players competing in state and national events.
In line with Golf Australia’s ‘vision 2025’ to support the growth of women’s golf, our Ladies Academy provides three tiers of programs to transition players from beginner to club member. Green Girls is an inclusive, free ‘try golf’ event run on specific dates throughout the year; Let’s Go Clubbing is a 3 clinic/6 hour intensive program that prepares beginner golfers for the course and our Fairways Program for the novice golfer provides club membership and on going mentoring from a team of dedicated members.
