Girls Got Drive!

On Sunday 22nd August 2021 the Royal Adelaide Golf Club will host the inaugural edition of an event designed exclusively for young female golfers—Girls Got Drive!

Girls Got Drive! is an initiative of RAGC which supports Golf Australia’s “Vision 2025” goal of introducing and retaining more girls in golf.

The event will bring together girls (under 18) who play golf at any level from across the state in a day uniquely dedicated to them, whilst highlighting the success of our junior program and the opportunities that exist for girls to play golf at RAGC.

Focussing not only on players with existing Golf Australia handicaps who will compete in a pairs 4 Ball Better Ball event for the McLaurin-Lyons Medal, Girls Got Drive! will also feature a MyGolf Girls’ event for beginner golfers with activities including a 5-hole 2-person Ambrose event, a coaching clinic with our teaching professionals and a fun putting competition on ‘Seaton Dunes’.
